Immerse yourself in our world of light, reflection and shadow. Through the art of glass fusing, A+N studio has created glass wall objects that appear to be liquid and add an experience to the space through light.

 

Our Transparency & Fluidity collection is inspired by the way sunlight reflects and shines on water. Just like the sun, water has a calming effect. It holds your attention without over-stimulating. Not only through its shimmer, but also through its light form of movement. The effect of glass in combination with light uses the same principle of ‘soft fascination’ from the Attention Restoration Theory (ART, Kaplan, 1995). ART is a scientific theory proposing that effortless attention and soft fascination -often found in scenes of nature- can help restore our mental energy, which contributes to our ability to focus & concentrate.
